Why we took Foreplay to Cannes Lions 2024

When it comes to the biggest and best in advertising, there’s no better place to be than Cannes Lions. For us at Foreplay, the decision to pack our bags and head to the French Riviera was a no-brainer. First off, it was the perfect opportunity to gain exposure within the enterprise advertising community. We wanted to make sure that the biggest players in the game knew about the magic we're working on.

But it wasn’t just about shaking hands and swapping business cards (though, trust us, we did plenty of that!). It was also a chance to reconnect with our existing customers and agency partners face-to-face—because nothing beats a good old-fashioned catch-up over a croissant or, you know, a glass of rosé on the beach.

And let’s be honest, Cannes Lions is one giant, glamorous party, and we weren’t about to miss out on the fun.

After all, what’s the point of being in advertising if you can’t mix a little business with pleasure?
